Recently I was forced to cancel my trip to Bangkok due to civil unrest but my travel insurance reimburse my loss. I would say “in insurance we trust”.

It’s was this nice holiday during Deepavali, I travelled to my former college mate hometown to enjoy my days at kampong. Although the days are short but really did enjoy my time there. Just a few highlight of details:
- Eat & drink like never before… and all these sponsored by my good friend. Wahaha, I never eat so much in 1 day coz my fren keep on asking me to eat & eat & eat… Seems like me gain another kg on this.
- Not to forget about Bird Nest, my fren also spend me 2 nite of Bird Nest…. Yummy!
- Spending time in this kampong really make me gain more experience agriculture, bird nest etc.
These good memories will not be forgotten.

Bangkok Trip 04 July 2009
This is my 2nd time to the kingdom of Thailand but my first trip to Bangkok… Very jolly good place to visit.
It’s totally shopping paradise especially for girls… and good place where u can get cheaper shampoo, shower gel as most shampoo & shower come from thailand…
Overall is good place to go… probally will visit again if i need to shop…

With WHO issued a pandemic on swine flu, this got me scratching my head whether to go Bangkok or not… Will be going there this early July which is just mere 3 weeks, after weighing my options:
1. Forfeit RM400 paid for the plane & hotel or
2. No refund will be provided for trip cancellation by AIG travel insurance
I decided to take the risk, and since the insurance agency must honour the policy (and willing to bear more risk of me going into infected area) therefore I must go…
Bottom line… seems like $ more important that life
